Neftaly Supports SACAP Interns in Trauma-Sensitive Youth Engagement
At Neftaly, we are proud to partner with the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) to provide meaningful learning experiences for interns working in trauma-sensitive environments with youth.
Our collaboration empowers SACAP interns to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings, equipping them with the tools to support young people affected by trauma, violence, and adversity. Under the guidance of Neftaly’s experienced mentors and facilitators, interns engage in structured youth development programmes, trauma-informed practices, and community-based interventions.
The goal is twofold: to enhance the emotional resilience of vulnerable youth while cultivating the professional growth of emerging mental health and social service practitioners.
By fostering trauma-sensitive engagement, Neftaly and SACAP are contributing to a generation of empathetic, skilled professionals who are ready to make a lasting impact in South African communities.
