Neftaly Mentors SACAP Interns in Culturally Competent Mental Health Practice

Neftaly (Neftaly International) partners with the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) to mentor psychology interns in delivering culturally competent mental health support. Through this initiative, SACAP interns gain hands-on experience working in diverse communities under the guidance of Neftaly’s experienced professionals. The mentorship focuses on enhancing awareness, sensitivity, and practical skills for addressing mental health challenges within South Africa’s multicultural context. Interns learn to adapt therapeutic approaches to be inclusive, respectful, and effective across cultural and linguistic backgrounds, ultimately strengthening community-based mental health services.
